Is it possible that moving a 4D 2004.7r3 structure to another drive
-- and then back again -- would cause Insider to see it as corrupted?
Mac OS 10.4.11
I'm trying to install another Foundation 4 component to an existing
Fnd4 database with Insider. Fnd_Mail will be added as source code,
but first I'm installing Fnd_Text (usually optional, required by
Mail) in the usual way of installing a component.
I've also tried installing the optional Fnd_Data.
At each step, I test the structure by reopening with Insider. If it's
OK, I move a copy to an external drive. But if I have to backtrack
and retrieve the structure from the external and reopen it with
Insider, I get a message about the structure being corrupted.
Can anyone offer any clues about what is happening?
Bernadette
