How is scanner set up? If set up as wedge and If positioned in field
or variable on form, scanner should work like any other input device.
We do this on windows with no problems.

Hi,
I have a customer who requires a bluetooth cordless barcode scanner
for use with a custom 4D app which will run on Mac OSX. They
currently have the app running on Windows but we are having a hard
time getting barcode scanners to work with Bluetooth on Mac OSX.
The application uses code 3 of 9 labels. We do not require any
offline storage of codes. We just need it to provide the equivalent
of keyboard input to a 4D window.
Does anyone have any experience here?

Chuck,
Yes, that's what the client has done. When the codes are scanned,
nothing happens on the Mac. On Windows, we get the equivalent of
keyboard input.

wedge scanner. How is it set up. Have you connected the scanner
base to machine and married base to scanner?
