Is there anybody on this list who has a converted V2004 to V11 database
And can search on subrecords ??
The server always crashes. Windows 2003 X64

Subtables and subrecords are dead .....
4D announced that already with v3.5 (french 5.5) I think or latest with
v6, now they finally did it ;-)
Subtables are getting converted to normal tables in v11 and 4D adds a
field for the relation in the subtable.
So I think, you need to overwork these parts.

Matthias,
Subfiles should still be OK when a 2004 structure is converted to
v11. They are indeed converted to a normal table, but get a special
relation which acts like a subtable for compatibility reasons. But,
if something is changed to that relation, the subtable behavior is
broken down to a normal relation, which cannot be undone.
I haven't tried this myself, but that was what we were told in the
v11 presentations.

This is correct.
Also, the fact that they have been depricated shouldn't explain the
server crashes if that's what's happening
To see if's just corruption in your own data or not, create a
subtable in a brand new v2004 structure, upgrade it and then perform
a query on it in v11.
