Peter,
This describes exactly what we are seeing...perfectly.
We NEED to find a solution to this issue, as we are being beat up by
our
customers. As far as I can tell, this ONLY happens to 4D Server, no
other
application.

The only difference I see is, the menu bar of 4D server is working.

start a backup or you can shut down the server - problem is, you don´t

anything except a white window!
It only seems to happen with two installations, both of them win2003
server.
After a restart of 4D the window is drawn correct again - you can log
in and
log out several times and all is perfect. But a few days later the 4D
server
window is white again :(
We already called 4D Hotline but no one had a solution. It definitely
has
nothing to do with rdclip.exe.
So if someone has an idea - we are also very interested in a solution!

All:
We do not use RDP because of problems in the past like this. We have
experimented with RDP, but have always found it to not work
consistently, not give the features we want, and in some cases appear
to be the cause of 4D Server problems. Since we just could not have
this, because when we need to work on the server we need to - period.
We have used Timbuktu (now from Motorola). This has worked without
problems for 20 years now. Yes, it is not free like RDP, but it works.
