desperation as we are still having problems
This does not help your desperation since I'm not using 2003, but it
does let you know that you are not being ignored... I have not seen
this behavior using 2004.7r3.

Roger,
We have recently had a rash of cases where 4D seems to have a problem
with the current product or expansion license. The solution has been
to discard the current license and reregister the product ID, using
instant activation, which result in a new license file being
downloaded to your license folder. I suggest you try doing this to
see if it corrects your problem.

This is a windows 2003 server with web services licence installed, but
users trying to connect are getting the 1 hour evaluation time has
expired.
We have re-installed all the software. 4D has confirmed that the
licence
numbers are correct.
If the server is restarted then there is the hour before the message
starts to appear.
Looking under help - update licences one can see that the licences are
there.
Has anyone else had this problem or are we alone?

Yes, happened to me all the time under 2003 with the web server
license. I think what finally solved it was to re-install the main
server license and the expansion licenses.
